The core life-sciences and material sciences training division at STEMlab aims to help young and talented students and professionals who want to learn domain-level skills related to Biocomputing and solving real-life problems at the interface of chemistry, physics, biology, and medicine. Furthermore, we aim to help young researchers to carry out short-term and long-term research projects according to the student’s research interests and in specific key subject areas.
Our courses and hands-on training will provide practical skills in the chosen area for students on all levels: from Bachelor to master and Ph.D. students. In addition, we intend to impart training in various courses that may simplify skill development and provide hands-on training to access and learn research tools to continue to analyze complex biomolecular systems and complex and massive biomedical datasets for genomic, proteomic, and large-scale NGS and Microarray data analysis
and even modeling and prediction of high-energy materials for bio-sensing applications. Finally, we provide an environment for students to learn and develop web servers and stand-alone software for various analysis purposes.
Our training modules are primarily designed on projects developed as tutorials teaching the logic of analysis specific to data types and their corresponding applications. We look forward to integrating our projects and engaging new students online to learn new skill sets.
