- The notice states no citizenship condition. You need a postgraduate degree, including an integrated postgraduate degree, in life sciences from a recognised university plus at least three years of post-qualification experience in a research laboratory, or an awarded PhD in life sciences. The age limit is 40, relaxable by five years for SC and ST, three years for OBC, and ten to fifteen years for persons with benchmark disabilities. The date of interview is the date on which age, experience and qualification are assessed. There is no online application. Bring your CV, one photocopy set of your qualification and experience documents plus the originals, and a valid photo ID. Mobile phones are deposited at reception for the whole selection process. If many candidates appear, THSTI screens down to those with higher or more relevant qualifications. One warning about the source: a single advertisement PDF covers several posts with several different walk-in dates, so match on the named principal investigator and the project title, not on the job title.
