Who can apply

• Women of any nationality. You must be registered in a full-time PhD or doctoral programme and, at the time you apply, either have completed at least one year of that programme or hold a master's degree in an aerospace-applied field. Your research must be applied to aerospace engineering or the space sciences, and you must not graduate from the doctoral programme before April 2028. Postdoctoral research programmes are not eligible. Zonta club members, individuals with direct membership of Zonta International, and employees of Zonta International or the Zonta Foundation for Women cannot apply. Previous Amelia Earhart Fellows cannot apply to renew for a second year.
