Who can apply
- You must work at a US academic institution or eligible non-profit, and be a US citizen or a non-US citizen with an appropriate visa or lawful immigration status at the time of application. You must hold a postdoctoral position: applicants with a faculty appointment (instructor, assistant professor) or who are research or staff scientists are not eligible. You must have held your terminal doctoral degree for three years or less, and/or completed three or fewer years of postdoctoral research training, at the time of application. Only one postdoctoral fellowship application per cycle.
