Who can apply
- An above-average master's or comparable degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, mathematics, bioinformatics or a related area, awarded by September 2027, so you may apply before you graduate. The school asks for some experience of computational or biological research, knowledge of biology or of computation with a willingness to gain the other, very good written and spoken English, and a project proposal that matches one of the faculty's research interests. Two referees with institutional email addresses are required. Applicants worldwide are invited. The school runs an explicit AI and plagiarism policy: AI may be used only for minor language polishing and must be declared, and undeclared use disqualifies the application. New PhD projects for 2027 are announced in autumn 2026.
