Who can apply: A Bachelor’s (fast-track) and/or Master’s degree in a cognition-related field such as artificial intelligence, biology, cognitive neuroscience, genetics, linguistics, mathematics, neurobiology, neuroimaging, neurology, neurophysics, philosophy, physics, psychiatry or psychology, with at least 60 ECTS (or 30 equivalent… What is funded: A fully funded international doctoral program starting 1 September 2027, open to Bachelor’s (fast-track) and Master’s graduates. The orientation year pays a stipend of EUR 1,565 net plus up to EUR 100 towards health insurance, followed by a contract under the local Wage Agreement for Public Service. Who can apply
- A Bachelor's (fast-track) and/or Master's degree in a cognition-related field such as artificial intelligence, biology, cognitive neuroscience, genetics, linguistics, mathematics, neurobiology, neuroimaging, neurology, neurophysics, philosophy, physics, psychiatry or psychology, with at least 60 ECTS (or 30 equivalent credits) in such courses. Successful applicants usually hold a German-scale GPA of about 1.3. Non-native speakers must prove English proficiency; the GRE is optional. Applicants name three potential supervisors and two referees, whose letters are due by the same deadline.
