Eligible at the time of application: undergraduate seniors, current master's students (who must enroll at a different institution for the Ph.D.), first-year graduate students, employed individuals and others matriculating into graduate school. Second-year or later graduate students and concurrent professional-doctorate students (M.D./Ph.D. and similar) are not eligible. The site still offers a 'Notify me when the DOE CSGF application opens' sign-up, so the portal may not be accepting submissions yet.
