Who can apply: Postdoctoral researchers. Level 1 basic scientists must have received their degree no more than 18 months before the deadline. Candidates who are not United States citizens may apply only if they plan to conduct their research at a United States institution; US citizens may work abroad. What is funded: A four-year term with a stipend of USD 70,000, 72,000, 74,000 and 76,000 across years one to four, plus a USD 2,000 annual expense allowance paid to the host laboratory and a USD 1,000 per child per year dependent allowance. Up to USD 100,000 of qualifying medical-school loans can be retired for eligible physician… Deadline: 14 August 2026, 4:00 pm Eastern Time. Round: August 2026 cycle.
