Who can apply

  • You must already be an immigrant to the United States or the child of immigrants, so a student applying from India on a fresh F-1 visa is NOT eligible. If you were born abroad you must be a naturalised US citizen, a green card holder, an asylee or refugee, or have graduated from BOTH high school and college in the United States, which is the route that covers current and past DACA recipients. If you are a US citizen by birth, both birth parents must have been born abroad as non-US citizens and ineligible for US citizenship at their own birth. You must also be 30 or younger at the deadline, hold a bachelor's degree by autumn 2027, and be starting or continuing a full-time accredited graduate or professional degree in the United States in 2027-28 without having started its third year. Executive programmes, simultaneous bachelor's and master's, certificate and post-baccalaureate programmes, and any programme outside the United States are ineligible.
