Who can apply: You cannot apply for this on its own: you must be applying for admission to an Auckland doctoral programme, and you must not enrol before the scholarship outcome is advised. Who can apply

  • You cannot apply for this on its own: you must be applying for admission to an Auckland doctoral programme, and you must not enrol before the scholarship outcome is advised. The tuition-fee cover for an international candidate depends on New Zealand's domestic fees policy, which requires you to reside in New Zealand for the whole doctorate, with no more than 12 cumulative months of research or conference travel overseas. Some faculties, including Medical and Health Sciences, require a confirmed supervisor before you apply. Applicants who have not studied at the University of Auckland in the last five years must arrange two academic references, one of them from the supervisor of their postgraduate thesis or dissertation. Applicable study is PhD, DMedSc, DClinPsy, DocFA, EdD or DHSc. Open to all nationalities.

The only binding action. Submit the Application for Admission to the doctoral programme by the round date and indicate that you wish to be considered for a University of Auckland Doctoral Scholarship. There is no separate scholarship application.See the official page

Award is made on the recommendation of the faculty, Large Scale Research Institute or University Research Centre. Do not enrol in the programme before you have been advised of the scholarship outcome.See the official page
