Who can apply
- Holders of a scientific or medical PhD, held by the funding start date. The host laboratory must be a public research laboratory in France and must differ from the thesis laboratory, so a change of research structure is compulsory. Funding must start no later than 12 months after the PhD defence, which for the autumn session means a defence after 1 April 2026. At least one first-author publication from the PhD must be accepted or under revision, and a preprint does not satisfy that. The call states no nationality condition, and the PDF2 track exists to bring researchers to France from abroad.
