Who can apply
- Current students only. The FAQ states you may apply as many times as you want 'as long as you identify as a female student', so the scheme is gender-restricted, and it states that recent graduates who are no longer students cannot apply. This is a one-time award and past recipients are ineligible. The Grace Hopper Celebration and the Richard Tapia Celebration are excluded because they run their own scholarship programmes. No paid ACM membership is required. Applications are evaluated in six groups a year, and only the round closing 15 October 2026 carries an explicit year on the page.
Stage dates
The application and the advisor's support letter must both be in by this date; ACM-W states an application without the uploaded letter is not considered. Notification by 30 October 2026.15 October 2026
Dates come from the funder's page for this round. When a round closes, the next round's dates replace these once the funder publishes them.
