- A PhD in life sciences, biotechnology, molecular biology or a related field, or an M.Tech in biotechnology or bioinformatics with three years of research experience and at least one paper in a Science Citation Indexed journal, meeting DST office memorandum DST/PCPM/Z-06/2022 dated 26 June 2023. Research experience in functional genomics, secondary metabolism and regulation with at least two first-author SCI papers above impact factor three is preferred.

Selection is by a single walk-in interview at BRIC-NIPGR, Aruna Asaf Ali Marg, New Delhi on Thursday 15 October 2026 from 10:30 am.
