You need a degree in pharmacology or a related discipline and must intend to do PhD research in pharmacology or therapeutic innovation at a recognised institute in the UK or Ireland. No nationality restriction is stated, but course fees are paid at the Home rate, so an international candidate will have a fees gap to cover elsewhere. No student membership is required; the primary supervisor is expected to be or become a Society member.
