Who can apply

  • An active young Indian researcher (PhD student, research associate, resident doctor) or an emeritus or other non-regular researcher in R&D, holding at least a postgraduate science degree or a bachelor's in engineering, technology or medicine. You must already hold an accepted paper as single or lead author, or an invitation to chair or give a keynote, must have published in refereed journals, and must not have taken CSIR travel support in the last 3 years. Indian researchers based in India only.

Stage dates

Forms CSIR/TG/19/SUM and CSIR/TG/19/MAIN, forwarded through proper channel with the acceptance letter, institutional NOC, conference brochure, abstract, an airfare estimate from a Government-approved agent, and a certificate that no CSIR travel support was taken in the last 3 years. Claims must follow within 60 days of the event and never later than 4 months.See the official page
