- Position code 05 asks for an M.Sc. in Biological Sciences or an M.Pharm plus two years of research experience in cell culture, molecular biology, animal handling and clinical sample analysis. Position code 03 asks for a Master's in Microbiology plus two years in microbial culture, isolation, batch fermentation and bioreactor handling, code 04 a Master's in Chemistry plus two years in natural-product isolation and analytical techniques, and code 06 an M.Sc. in Botany, Biotechnology, Plant Sciences or Biochemistry plus two years in tissue culture and plant molecular biology. Code 02 takes a Master's in Renewable Energy, Soil Science, Microbiology or Biotechnology, or a B.Tech or Master's in mechanical, chemical or agricultural engineering, plus two years in biomass conversion. Every Project Associate-II route therefore needs two years of research experience, which rules out a fresh postgraduate. The upper age limit is 35 years for Project Associate-II and Project Assistant-II and 40 for Project Scientist-II, relaxable per Government of India and CSIR rules. The advert prints no citizenship clause; interviews are in hybrid mode and the post is tenable at Jammu.
