Who can apply: A doctoral degree (PhD, MD or equivalent) in a field relevant to the grant, awarded within the last 10 years counted from the start of the call. You do not need a faculty position: fellows, postdoctoral fellows and junior faculty are all eligible. DKMS states that applicants from all countries are invited to apply. What is funded: EUR 240,000 over three years, capped at EUR 80,000 a year and released subject to reasonable progress. Up to four projects are selected from each round. Applications are sent by email to [email protected] and there is no application fee. Deadline: 16 November 2026. Round: 2027 grant round, opened 13 August 2026.
