Who can apply

  • Open to foreign candidates. You must be enrolled in an undergraduate course at a higher education institution in Sao Paulo state, have completed enough coursework relevant to the project, and show good academic performance on your transcript. The fellowship is proposed to FAPESP by the supervisor, who holds a doctorate and carries the main responsibility for the project, so you must find that supervisor first, but you are expected to take part in writing the project and to be able to discuss and analyse its results. A foreign candidate is responsible for obtaining the documentation needed to stay in Brazil from the nearest Brazilian consulate.
