• SEMM states that applicants of any nationality are welcome. Projects at Human Technopole cover genetic and regulatory determinants of B cell function in immune disease and the genetic and cellular dissection of cardiometabolic disease, so a life-science, biotechnology, medicine or computational-biology master's is the expected background. Applications are accepted only through the online system, and referees submit their letters themselves through the same system. Note that the enrolment fees Italian doctoral programmes charge after admission are non-refundable; there is no fee to apply. Prospective applicants are encouraged to email the group leader with a CV first, but that contact is not an application.
