Who can apply

• You need a postgraduate degree in marine science, ecology, environmental science, zoology, fisheries, animal behaviour or an associated field, plus a national eligibility test: CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship, or GATE, or selection through a national level examination conducted by Central Government departments, agencies or institutions. Experience in marine biology, fish ecology, animal behaviour or experimental ecology is desirable, and experience handling captive fish or other aquatic animals is strongly preferred but not essential. The advert states no citizenship restriction, so open_to_international is left unknown rather than claimed either way, but the national eligibility test requirement in practice points at Indian qualifying examinations.
