Who can apply
- You need a strong interest in a PhD in neuroethology, a Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field awarded before October 2026, and fluency in written and spoken English at CEFR C1. The application asks for your Bachelor's certificate and transcript, your Master's certificate and transcript if already completed, English translations where the records are not in English, a motivation letter, research statements naming two of the recruiting Principal Investigators, and two referees who fill in reference forms directly. Degree-awarding rights sit with the University of Bonn, so its faculty admission requirements also apply. No application fee is charged.
