- You need an MSc degree (a copy of the certificate is a required document) and you apply per project rather than to the school. The required single PDF holds a one-page motivation letter for that specific project, a CV, a list of degrees, courses, workshops and projects, a one-page summary of your MSc thesis or equivalent work, a copy of the MSc certificate and the contact details of at least one MSc supervisor. The file must stay under 45 MB and must be named and subject-lined exactly as the school instructs. No nationality restriction is stated anywhere on the page; the doctorate is a four-year employed position in Germany.
