Who can apply
- PhD students and early-stage postdocs are not eligible: you must be an ISN Postdoc Member with at least three years of postdoctoral experience, or an ISN Full Member within 10 years of the PhD, and in either case you must have held continuous ISN membership for at least 24 months at the time of application, so joining today does not make you eligible for the next round. Career breaks may be taken into account if you contact the Career Support Committee Chair. You also need a signed letter from your department chair confirming your career status and your potential for research independence, plus a publication list, host laboratory details and a budget. The two other Career Support schemes on the same page, the Return Home Grant and the Interruption Re-Entry Grant, require independent researcher status or a senior track record and are not open to this audience. ISN charges nothing to apply. Membership costs USD 50 a year for Postdoc Members and USD 120 for Full Members, with an automatic 50 per cent discount for residents of upper-middle-income countries and 75 per cent for lower-middle and low-income countries, and a hardship waiver on request.
Stage dates
The single application deadline. ISN prints "October 31" with no year, so none is asserted here.See the official page
Dates come from the funder's page for this round. When a round closes, the next round's dates replace these once the funder publishes them.
