Who can apply

  • There is a hard membership waiting period: you must be an ISN Student or Postdoc Member who has been continuously a member for at least 24 months at the time of application, or have published in the Journal of Neurochemistry, and ISN explicitly excludes students and postdocs who have not renewed every year, so joining today does not make you eligible for the next round. You must still be an active member in the year of the visit. Your host must head an independent research group at an institution in another country and must confirm in writing that the host laboratory will pay the laboratory costs, and each host lab may support only one visiting ISN member per calendar year. You also need a supporting letter from your own supervisor. ISN charges nothing to apply. Membership itself costs USD 30 a year for Student Members and USD 50 for Postdoc Members, with an automatic 50 per cent discount for residents of upper-middle-income countries and 75 per cent for lower-middle and low-income countries, a full waiver for members of the APSN, ASN or ESN regional societies, and a hardship waiver on request.

Stage dates

The single application deadline. ISN prints "October 31" with no year, so none is asserted here.See the official page

Dates come from the funder's page for this round. When a round closes, the next round's dates replace these once the funder publishes them.
