Required: a strong academic background in one of those disciplines, knowledge of electrochemistry and electrochemical materials or devices, hands-on experience with experimental materials preparation or electrochemical characterisation, and the ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written English, since all research at the Laboratory of Organic Electronics is conducted in English. Meritorious: polymer electrolytes, hydrogels, ionogels or eutectogels; redox chemistry, batteries or redox-flow batteries; ion transport in soft materials; cyclic voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy; ionic thermoelectrics; and flexible or deformable electrochemical devices. No citizenship restriction is stated and the application asks for a copy of the passport, but a non-EU appointee will need a Swedish residence permit for doctoral studies before starting.
