Required: a strong academic background in one of those disciplines, knowledge of electronic or ionic transport in functional materials, hands-on experience with experimental materials preparation, device fabrication or physical characterisation, and the ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written English, since all research at the Laboratory of Organic Electronics is conducted in English. Meritorious: mixed ionic-electronic conductors, conducting polymers or carbon-based materials; polymer composites, membranes or separators; electrical and ionic transport characterisation; electron microscopy or X-ray based structural characterisation; thermoelectric materials; and flexible or deformable electronic devices. No citizenship restriction is stated and the application asks for a copy of the passport, but a non-EU appointee will need a Swedish residence permit for doctoral studies before starting.
Stage dates
