Who can apply: Open to UK and international applicants with, or about to obtain, a First or Upper Second class UK honours degree or overseas equivalent in an appropriate area; a master’s is not required. Applicants apply to one institution only. What is funded: Fully funded four-year studentship covering tuition fees, a tax-free stipend of about 24,000 GBP per year, lab expenses, training and conference travel. Five studentships for 2027/28, three at Manchester and two at Oxford. Deadline: 23 November 2026 (Manchester).
