Who can apply
- Citizenship restricted. At the time of award you must be a United States citizen, a non-citizen national, or a lawful permanent resident holding a Green Card. Citizenship is not needed to apply, only when the award is issued, and foreign nationals on student visas are explicitly not eligible. You must be a PhD candidate at the dissertation research stage at the time of award, committing at least 40 hours a week. The institution submits, but the fellow is the applicant and writes the research training plan.
Stage dates
NCI prints three standard receipt dates, 8 April, 8 August and 8 December, with no year against them, which is why no date is claimed here. Applications are due by 5 pm local time of the submitting institution.See the official page
Dates come from the funder's page for this round. When a round closes, the next round's dates replace these once the funder publishes them.
