Who can apply
- Open to candidates of all nationalities who are from a Black heritage background, including a mixed background (Black African, Black Caribbean, Black Other, or a mixed background including those). Candidates who are not from a Black heritage background should apply through the Crick's 2027 PhD student recruitment instead. The standard Crick academic criteria apply: a first or upper second-class honours degree (or non-UK equivalent) in a relevant subject, plus appropriate research experience or a relevant master's degree. Applicants name up to three participating Group Leaders they wish to be matched with.
