Who can apply: Undergraduates on a first degree can apply in their own name, as can MSc students, PhD students and anyone within 10 years of a higher degree. Membership is required and must have been held for at least two consecutive years before applying, and must still be current when you travel, so joining today does not get you… What is funded: Up to GBP 400 for a member attending a conference in their home country, up to GBP 500 for a member based in the UK or Europe travelling to an event in Europe, and up to GBP 600 for a member travelling overseas. - Undergraduates on a first degree can apply in their own name, as can MSc students, PhD students and anyone within 10 years of a higher degree. Membership is required and must have been held for at least two consecutive years before applying, and must still be current when you travel, so joining today does not get you into this round. Student membership is GBP 21 and early career membership GBP 42. You must be invited to speak or presenting an abstract, and must not have received a grant in the last three years.
Stage dates
The Society's timings table prints the two closing dates as 31 March and 31 August with no year against them, and gives the cut-off as midnight, which does not say which day ends. Confirm the exact closing instant with the membership team rather than assuming.See the official page
