Who can apply

  • The regular 5+3 PhD programme requires a completed degree equivalent to a Danish master's degree (180 ECTS BSc plus 120 ECTS MSc) in the project's subject area. Applicants with a degree from abroad may alternatively hold a bachelor's degree equivalent to a Danish bachelor's degree and be academically qualified at master's level. The whole application must be in English. No citizenship restriction is stated and the university encourages all qualified candidates to apply regardless of personal background, but a non-EU appointee will need a Danish work and residence permit before starting. The advert seeks candidates in plant biochemistry, plant biotechnology, molecular biology, plant signalling and/or bioinformatics with experimental experience in biosynthesis, metabolic regulation and/or functional analysis of plant specialized metabolites. A background screening may be required after affiliation.
