Who can apply

  • The regular 5+3 PhD programme requires a completed degree equivalent to a Danish master's degree (180 ECTS BSc plus 120 ECTS MSc) in the project's subject area. Applicants with a degree from abroad may alternatively hold a bachelor's degree equivalent to a Danish bachelor's degree and be academically qualified at master's level. The whole application must be in English. No citizenship restriction is stated and the university encourages all qualified candidates to apply regardless of personal background, but a non-EU appointee will need a Danish work and residence permit before starting. The advert seeks candidates in soil biogeochemistry, plant nutrition or a closely related discipline, with laboratory experience in soil sampling and analysis, soil organic matter fractionation and isotopic techniques. English at C1 level is expected. The advert explicitly encourages applications from candidates who do not match every listed qualification.
