Who can apply: For international applicants who have applied for a PhD place at the University of Reading. One candidate per School is nominated to the final round. The page does not mention an application fee. What is funded: Tuition fees at the international rate, a stipend broadly in line with the UKRI minimum (21,805 GBP in 2026/27) and a 1,000 GBP a year training allowance, for up to four years full-time. Off-campus applicants get fees and the allowance only, no stipend. Deadline: 15 January 2027. Round: October 2027 start.
