What is funded: A 10-week paid summer research fellowship (1 June to 6 August 2027) in the laboratory of a Graduate School faculty member, aimed at undergraduates preparing for a PhD or MD/PhD in biomedical research. Who can apply
- Enrolled in an undergraduate science degree programme and must have completed the freshman (first) year. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or hold an F1 visa, so an international student can apply only if already studying in the United States on an F1 visa; there is no route for a student applying from outside the US. Fellows must commit to taking no courses, holding no job, doing no volunteering and taking no vacation during the 10 weeks. Two letters of recommendation and transcripts from every college attended are required.
