Who can apply

• An appropriate master's or equivalent higher education degree with a distinction (cum laude) on study results or professional achievements, and English proficiency meeting KU Leuven's criteria. Candidates still completing a master's degree may apply provided the degree is obtained before the position starts, which the Center notes may matter for eligibility for certain competitive funding. Candidates from non-neuroscience fields including physics, artificial intelligence, engineering, humanities and medical training are explicitly encouraged. This is an international call: the posting states that local candidates should contact Principal Investigators directly, independent of the programme. Applicants must name the specific PhD project and supervisor in the motivation field or the application is not considered.
