The applicant must be an active student for… What is funded: USD 4,000 for 10 weeks of clinical or laboratory summer research. The award defrays the tuition cost of research credits or supplements living and housing costs, and is paid in two parts: the first on the mentor confirming the student has started, the second on approval of the final progress report. Who can apply
- Advanced undergraduate students and medical students. The programme is open to national and international applicants and the project may be carried out at a national or international institution; international awardees must show a valid visa before the project start date. The applicant must be an active student for the whole award period, so students graduating in spring 2027 are not eligible, and each applicant must name a mentor who is an expert in the Parkinson's community. Several people may apply from one laboratory, but only one fellowship per laboratory is awarded.
