- You must be based at a doctoral-degree-granting accredited US university; both US and non-US citizens may apply, but the fellowship cannot support work outside the United States. You must hold a PhD, PharmD, MD or equivalent terminal research doctorate, be in a postdoctoral position at the time the letter of intent is submitted, and have a doctoral degree granted on or after 1 January 2024. At least two first-author publications are required. Holders of an NIH K99/R00 or F-series award are ineligible.
