Who can apply

• Applicants must hold a PhD or equivalent by 1 September 2027 and have no more than three years of cumulative post-PhD experience by the competition deadline (documented interruptions can be considered). They apply with a university faculty supervisor, must hold the fellowship full-time in the Province of Manitoba, in a research environment different from their doctoral or earlier postdoctoral work (or clearly complementary to it), and may not simultaneously hold another major salary award or a faculty appointment. The programme guide states no citizenship requirement; the restriction is that the fellowship is held in Manitoba.
