This study designs a peptide-based multi-epitope vaccine against canine circovirus using immunoinformatics, then goes a step beyond most such work by validating it in vivo. Predicted antigenic epitopes were assembled into a vaccine construct and tested for their ability to raise an immune response in an animal model. Pairing computational design with experimental validation strengthens the case for the candidate.
